Gentleman,
Do you have information on the cartridge from the box see attachment.
The text on the box is a little bit confusing, “Full Metal Jacket Hollow Point”
I hope you can make it clear, the exact meaning of the text.
Thanking you in anticipation for your reply,
Regards Derk Jan

I have some problems with the attachment????

Thanks for the information.
In my opinion a full metal jacket had never a hollow point.
But that is not always true, I see now.

Hi DerkJan,
Fiocchi factory produces both types: this ones we are talking about and "pure" Hp, called JHP.
So we can suppose that the trade name of the box you posted is referred to that the brass/copper (maybe electrolithic...) jacket covers the lead also in the deepest hole bottom. Me too I am use to referr to a FMJ bullet as a round nose or flat nose, but not to an HP [264 ,
Indeed, literally, if the lead surface into a hole of a Hp bullet is covered by a more solid metal, is however a FMJ bullet
Or better, this the way oh thinking at Fiocchi! bastard

DerkJan,
that is an interesting box since it looks like a pre-production sample.

It would be interesting to know if that "zero pollution" moniker actually refers to a lead-free bullet , to a lead free-primer or both. A bullet with the jacket covering the base (no lead exposed to the gas of explosion and so "zero pollution")was introduced by Fiocchi around 1995, along with their zero pollution primers (brass cup). Cartridges were offered in green boxes.

DerkJan,
