It does not seem a torpedo, I suspect it's a naval mine PMK-1.

With all due respect to the Lithuanian EODs, there is something wrong.
If the ordnance found on the Curonian Spit is around 350-400 cm long and from the picture is obtained a caliber/length ratio of about 1/10, we get a caliber of 350/400 mm.
The 53/65K is a 533 mm torpedo.
All right, it lacks the motor and the warhead and therefore is shorter, but it can not be slimmed too.
Maybe the Lithuanian EODs should revise the identification or the dimension they declared ....
Con tutto il rispetto per gli EOD lituani c'è qualcosa che non quadra.
Se l'ordigno ritrovato è lungo circa 350-400 cm, ma dall'immagine si ricava un rapporto calibro/lunghezza di circa 1/10, otteniamo un calibro di 350/400 mm.
Il 53/65K è un siluro da 533 mm (21 inch).
Va bene che manca il motore e la testata e quindi è più corto, ma non può essere anche dimagrito.
Forse gli EOD lituani dovrebbero rivedere l'identificazione o le dimensioni che hanno rilevato ....

I sought also other puctures about the object.
But there are many things that doesn't persuade me:
The abovementioned diameter/length ratio;
The fact that they said there isn't the exercise head but is there instead, because the red/white banded portion is a naval exercise head mark;
The single white band on the body, to say a completely inert item, not applicable to a exercise torpedo, because of the engine fuels.
The real exercise 53/65K:

Posto che valga, io concordo appieno...ma la proposta del Real Madrid per acquisire Stecol nel personale tecnico non l'ho nemmeno presa in considerazione
