Amici,
today I received a quantity of 6.5 Carcano cartridges
I noted following headstamps:
SMI with 931, 932, 933, 936
P.V C-43
C.A C-41 & C-42 (only with dot after C)
C.A. B-42 (with dots after C and A)
T.M. B-35
R.M. B-43
R.M. B-43 and a star at 9 O'clock Position (what is the meaning of the star ?)
any special headstamps or are they all common ?
Mille grazie
René
The star at 9 o'clock indicate a TEST cartridge , the rest is ordinary stuff.
In the section Cesim find a comprehensive document on the 6.5 Carcano by Giovanni Defrancisci of which I enclose an extract of the test cartridge.
