Centerfire, non sono d'accordo.
Il "die" gestisce una OAL predeterminata, e da li non si scappa! Se, per ipotesi si fosse frapposto uno spessore o sotto il bossolo o in cima dove alloggia la palla, quest'ultima sarebbe stata crimpata al di sotto della normale sede di crimpatura prevista sulla palla stessa. Immaginate un bossolo con la spalla all'altezza giusta ma il colletto cortissimo: la crimpatura avverrebbe solo sulla palla a metà strada tra il solco di crimpatura della palla e la sua parte terminale inferiore.
E soprattutto lo spanciamento non si sarebbe verificato verso l'esterno delle pareti del bossolo (c'è il die, come fa?, mica il die è lasco, senno' a cosa serve?).
Poi per carità io ricarico niente rispetto a te che hai esperienza, lo riconosco, ma a logica mi viene da dire così. Se sbaglio datemi una randellata, ma dopo avermi convinto della spiegazione [icon_246 [icon_246 [icon_246

OK, this is my guess what has happened. I show you a picture of some stages of the draw process.
One of the last stages is cutting the case to correct length. I think these two cases escaped the process and got loaded.
That would explain the very heavy crimp and and the folding of the material.
